Animation could be much better but the jokes seem on point for the show. It was probably the only way the OG cast could come back. They're gonna be able to get away with a lot more probably being animated than if they would have just rebooted it as live action with a new cast.

It's very possible, that writers can't think of anything original any more. Gilligan's Island reboot next please.



Maybe a non-animated show of Beavis and Butthead. Another Adam-West Batman reboot, etc, and etc.

There are dozens if not hundreds of new shows a year - it’s just that reboots get the bulk of the attention bc ‘omgz can’t they think of anything new’ is consistent click bait

The fact that quite a few of these rebooted classic TV series and shows become more popular then many of the new shows regularly still does lend some credence to sonic's initial point. I know that reveals how widely-beloved and memorable these older, "classic" shows still are, but at some point, these newer shows will have to be able to show they can reach the same heights these legendary classic TV series of the 80's,90's, and 2000's once did and are remembered fondly for now.

There's going to be a day where a show Krapopolis is going to have the anchor Fox's animated Sunday night programming on the strength of it's own merits and not have Bob's Burgers, Simpsons, or even a now-Wednesday night airing Family Guy to reinforce and buttress it now and again.
