My advice wouldn't rattle the Mavs or Dirk, but opposing teams thought that stuff was pretty funny 2 years ago.
Seriously, the best way to rattle Dirk is get physical with him like David West did. When West tapped his face, I would've loved to see Dirk very profoundly knock his damn hand away. But instead he stood there and let West do that. That was disappointing, but West knows he can pull that with Dirk. Now Stackhouse is a different story.
The best way to rattle an opposing team is for the fans to be loud. So loud that they can't communicate on the court. It works in football, it works in hockey and it works in basketball.
