Ted Ginn falling down with ~3 seconds left on the play clock
Disclaimer: I am in no way blaming our loss on this play, simply curiousAfter Ted Ginn's offensive PI, was anyone else bothered by the fact that he was able to fall down with less than 5 seconds left on the play clock and his team go unpunished. I am aware that it was not inside 2 minutes, but what prevents any player from falling over to prevent a delay of game or use of a timeout before the play clock expires? I feel if the player can make it to the huddle and lineup then they are declaring themselves fit to play. With all of the ridiculous, and sometimes excessive rules this league has implemented, how is there not a rule against this yet? I saw when they lined back up they only put 10 on the play clock, but that really is inconsequential when you get a free timeout.
Now that I think about it, it might not have been Davis, but the point still remains
Edit 2: Thx inside job, Ted Ginn
