Actually I would say they are about as useful as draft grades... the people doing the grading have no clue what the hell they are talking about. Of course there are some talents that stand out the the most basic of laymen, and observing the player preferences of the actual experts can give some clues as well... but overall the recruiting sites are a bunch of guys who are not good enough to work for a scouting service going off of a small amount of film, base measurables, and scholarship offers.
