No what I meant was that your defense back then hit people hard and thus put fear into them, which created turnovers, hell John Lynch wouldn't have been too feared without the big hit. Not to mention Sapp getting licks in on people every chance he could. They were definitely elite players, but they were elite because they did their job and hit people as hard as they could. Furthermore how do you know what speeches that Hall of Fame DC used?

well in the audio he did keep saying to take out, gore AKA the head, I dont think he meant tackle when he said take out
and yes bucs 02 did hit hard, but its a big difference when you hit someone because its how you play, then when you hit someone in their sweet spot because you want to get paid
