I think that a lot of people who graduate from college already have intelligence and drive before acquiring their degree. They probably would have been successful anyway but now they have some basic knowlege in their field and proof they aren't lazy morons. I don't feel sorry for the people who went to private schools for a degree in Egytian art history and never worked a day while going to school and now have 100k debt.
I can't imagine what would make people think that a degree from college points to drive or intelligence. Even so, the $100k in debt better have come with some outrageous, but very hazy memories of the party!
