Not really. The blocking TE is starting to be phased out of the game. A lot of teams are starting to use TEs as bigger WRs, and they bring in an extra OLineman on obvious running downs.
His red-zone ability alone should net him a roster spot (assuming he can jump and catch).
You do realize this is the NFL... That lanky guy will get folded in half.... And while TE's are evolving into big parts of the passing game, TE's still have to block.
I do agree that I don't know how anyone could stop him in the red zone...
