feoinfunroe 06-21-2009, 05:12 AM I was just thinking about this game the other day (while deciding to NOT watch the Bears game StChad put up), and I was thinking about how much it meant for all of us for the Saints to WIN this game...and they DID!!! Yeah..."Bless You Boys" took on a much deeper meaning...thank God they didn't mail it in...oki'llshutup.
SaintSeb 06-21-2009, 05:54 AM 3 points...mauahah
saintsfirst 06-21-2009, 06:16 AM What a game that was! I had no doubt we'd win the home game at the Dome, after the Falcons d had given us quiete a hard time @Atlanta, I believe Drew was sacked 3 times or so, and he was always under pressure, geez I was so mad at the Birds LOL!
Thanks StChadwick you're da man! :9:
fenboy73 06-21-2009, 07:37 AM Any chance of download link St Chad! Great work again!
Saint Droopy 06-21-2009, 09:25 AM Still get emotional watching that game. Thanks StChad.
bobad 06-21-2009, 10:09 AM Take a look at Pierre's TD on the left side of the end zone. Carl Nicks PLOWED THE ROAD, and Pierre FOLLOWED him!
jtampasaint 06-21-2009, 11:38 AM After that blocked punt, i could feel the SUPER DOME shaking from Tampa

What game were you watching? I just watched it and I didn't see PT's TD.

SAINT HOUSTON #1 06-21-2009, 02:04 PM Thanks for the bittersweet memories. I was Impressed with the attacking style of Gary Gibbs Defense at this stage in his career. what happened to that style as time went on?
mikaloyd 06-21-2009, 02:25 PM That brought a tear to my eye. Thanks St. Chad.
Besides me being a big softy it also reminded me that Tirico is one of the best football sportscasters working NFL games. Im soooooooooooo glad he wont be saddled with Kornheiser this year.
Innotech 06-21-2009, 04:06 PM This is probably a stupid request, but does anyone know where I can find the Raiders @ Saints game from last yeaR? I was actually at that game so I didnt see the broadcast version of it (not that my vantage point was worse mind you)
Broadmoor74 06-21-2009, 06:37 PM I've watched just the National Anthem by Irma Thomas and Allen Toussaint a few times. Modern recording artists could take a cue from those two for making it simple, regional, classic, classy, and heartfelt.

kansast 06-21-2009, 08:51 PM Thank you again, and thank you again, for the encoding that allows these videos to play on my otherwise @#@#$ computer :-) VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
This Atlanta game.. WHAT A PRODUCTION.. from the national anthem to the blocked punt, to the slam dunk over the goal post of the football after that TD, all the way down the line, I never have before, but darn if I didn't get choked up on that blocked punt and TD.. that was something. The crowd was freaking great as well.
Saint_Ward 06-21-2009, 09:06 PM I was at the Bulldog on Magazine for this game. I never watched the 4th quarter, because I left for the Quarter to party it up. It was obvious the game was over by half time. Too many beers to remember the details of the game, so it's nice to finally watch it. I still haven't seen the 4th quarter though.. I stopped watching at the end of the 3rd. It just felt natural. haha.
