I want to watch this, but I'm trying to just forget Haslett and Brooks because this was the high point and it only went down from here...

Some times I'll dust off my old vhs copy of this game and when I watch it, I think to myself, "what the hell happened to THAT Aaron Brooks?".

$$$, I guess.

He got paid prematurely, and also spoiled and mishandled by Haslett.

Combination of the two.

I finally see where the phrase "championship" came from....who knew it would have been from a fellow wheux dat...in reguards to Aaron Brooks lol.

Was interesting to hear that we led the NFL in sacks that year with 66.

"This city is so crazy even that guy is getting chicks" lol good quote as they show a dude in a diaper.

Dennis Miller at the end says about Benson "he shouldn;t be opening that umbrella in here" mayb e the curse is right in front our eyes and we never even saw it? I vote for benson to get something other than an unbrella, maybe a golf cart that looks like a mardi gras float would be cool.

AB's touchdown throw to Robert Wilson has got to be one of the most beautiful passes of all time. Absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks St. Chadwick....the Saints really had some good talent on that team, in addition to some good pick-ups and role players:

1. Mark Fields
2. Glover
3. D. Howard
4. Joe Johnson
5. Keith Mitchell
6. Horn
7. Willie Jackson
8. Morton
9. Ricky Williams
10. Willie Roaf
11. Sammy Knight

Btw, did anyone notice that Fred McAfee wore #26? Weird, huh? And that Alex Molden was on that team? And he wore #25!

I'm usually pretty good with remembering players, but for some reason after watching this game again, I said to myself, "who are half the guys on offense"?? More specifically, most of the running backs and wide recievers. lol

Btw, Thank you StChad for providing us with some great memories!

Btw, in this game, Aaron Brooks showed the same flaws which all of us here harped on for such a long time: backpedalling on plays, throwing off back foot, not throwing away balls once out of the pocket, etc.
