From Aug. 14, 2009, after waiting for 239 days, we get to see the Saints play their first pre-season game of 2009 as the Cincinnati Bengals come to the Superdome.

I use a free program called "Any Video Converter." It works with all video formats. The only issue I have found with it is that you can't set it to widescreen (16:9) conversions. It does them all in 4:3 (regular) regardless of the source video.

For the widescreen ones, I use "Free FLV Converter." It will let you convert to or from FLV. I have never tried converting FROM, so let me know how it works for you.

Well, that's the plan.

I take james_kp's 720p torrent and convert it down to embed. The quality isn't as good after conversion, but I know there are members who have trouble with the torrents. He and I worked out a deal that I would post them to the forum. But the credit goes to him for the original HD versions. It takes him about 12 hours to do all the encoding. It takes me about 4 to convert and upload to my 4shared site. But, yes, we are planning to do it for every game this year.

The games can be found on the Classic Games Board. There is a sub-forum for 2009 Games at the top.

can you make these videos downloadable?

At the bottom of the video, look to the icons on the right hand side. Click the second one and it brings up a "Link to Share" window. Copy the link and paste it into your browser. It takes you to the download page.

Go to the download page and save it to your hard drive. It'll run perfectly when playing it from your hard drive. With the streaming video, you may run into slow servers and internet congestion.

Seriously, both of you guys are life savers, and true, dedicated Saints Fans! Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into these. You both are VERY appreciated!

I have a friend that is wheelchair bound in a nursing home near here. The game isn't carried in our area so I'm hoping to transfer this to a DVD so he can see the game. Thanks a bunch for making this available!
