Happy birthday ! She's 67 today.
She has got the most recognizable voice IMO. I really liked her earlier stuff with Jefferson Airplane, and tolerated her with Starship.
Anyone else out there who got in to her music ?

She was a real eye full too back the 60's. I wish the Airplane had recorded more music in those years.

Fine looking woman in her day and, from what I've read, quite a bit of fun.
And yes, Airplane and early Starship (e.g. Ride the Tiger) were quite good.
But man, 67's gettin' up there.

"Dad! Dad! There's this woman on VH1 and they're having to bleep out nearly every word she says! Who is this?"
"Sweetie, that's the one, the only, the often imitated but never duplicated Grace Slick. Let's go look up some of her music on the computer."
'Who's sleeping with Grace this week' used to be the bread and butter of Rolling Stone Magazine.
