The Saints are traveling to Chicago to fight for the right to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. What is the key to victory over Da Bears?

Make smart adjustments for extreme weather conditions.

I think the weather will be OK. Temps in the upper 30's to low 40's.

If it is Saints all the way. Pound Deuce up the middle.

The weather will be the biggest factor. Carney just needs to start practicing outside the dome to nullify this though- although I'm sure he is already. 30's ain't a bad temp- playing will keep their bodies warm. Reggie just needs to be careful with his jukes on that Chicago sod or he could (God forbid) twist up his ankle like some of the players last game. Defensively, if Fujita and the gang can get into Grossman's head early on, that'll pretty much guarantee a trip to Miami.

If we keep the pressue on Rex, you know he will fold and start turning the ball over. Then we give deauce and bush the rock.

No turnovers to give the Bears easy opportunities to score points. If we don't turn the ball over we'll win.

I think it is important to do all of those things. You must pressure Grossman so that our DBs can cover their Wrs. Our coverage teams must nullify Hester. Deuce must eat the clock. Brees must have a big game along with our receivers......

It will take all of those answers to win this weekend.

I'd say the key to victory is limiting hester's kick returns for big yards. grossman & the combination of jones/benton having great field position for alot of drives makes them more dangerous. if the saints can pin the bears with weak field position, grossman might press the issue & give us some turnouvers.

Get in Grossmans' head early. Once he starts out bad, he tends to play all day like that.

3 keys to victory
1. smack the Bears in the teeth w/ the running game as we grind out some long scoring drives
2. do not allow big plays against the Bear's special teams - this will be a game of field position
3. limit the Bears ground game, keep them one dimensional
Sounds simple enough. Our team can do it!

I say it is stopping the run, which will in turn put pressure on Grossman's game and pressure from the Saints D.

Turnovers!

The Bears are 11-0 when Grossman throws one or no picks. They are 3-3 when he throws 2 or more. Pressure him and make him throw risky passes. But for Christ's sake TACKLE Mohammed!

I agree. If we blitz too often, we open ourselves up for giving up the long pass to Berrian. We want to make Grossman earn his yardage. We need to try to get our pressure with our D-line and let our linebackers focus on stopping the run.
