I was deciding between Seattle and San Fran (Seattle's on my bday AND it's a night game!) but I still had to go with San Fran. due to the wine country factor and the fact that my GF has never been there. :(

San Fran was legitimately the ONLY city that would have topped Seattle for a road trip and since I've already been to a game at Monster Park I'd personally have preferred Seattle.

I just got my tickets. Who was it that brought the motorhome last time? We need to convince them to come again. That really made for a great tailgate.

I'm pretty fired up for this one -- a full day of tailgating before the game. Anyone know if they sell single-game tickets? I heard from a buddy that last year they opened up for one day in July and sold some single-gamers. For this game I'd definitely be willing to overpay at one of those ticket sites, but it'd still be nice to not have to.

By the way, anyone got a good bar to watch saints games up here during the rest of the season? I hear some people get together down in Kent, but can't remember the name of the place...

In late July they will sell single game tickets...they are expected to sell out of them in about an hour. I'll probably take my chances and not by any double face value tickets untill after then.

Where are us Saints fans going to tailgate all day?

Last time were in a pay parking lot, right next to Quest field on the east side (across the train tacks from the stadium) It was a great place with plenty of space. spaces were $20 a car. We had a RV that took up 3 spaces, so a bunch of us chipped in for parking fees for the rv.

We had a bbq pot luck and somebody set up a direct TV dish on a try pod with a flat panel tv to watch the morning games.

I have been looking at hotels to stay the night in seattle and found a pretty good one.

http://www.hotelvintagepark.com

They have one room with 2 doulbe beds for $200 and one with 2 double beds and fould queen sofa sleeper for $241 (including tax)

if you call the hotel directly you can make a reservation and they said they do not bill your credit card untill you chekc out. Book online on places like expedia want to charge up front, so call the hotel directly to make a reservation.

Its one mile from Quest Field, and walk is thru the downtown area, so its about the nices one i found at a reasonable price.

you can make a cancellation up to 24 hours in advance of your check in time.

Reservations are still available, several of the down town hotels are already fully booked for the night of Oct 14th.

Its not down seattle, I wish...Im in Olympia, but if we all wanted to meet some where before heading up we could use my office. I run a labor hall and have a huge place.
