Thought I'd start a thread (where it seemed appropriate) about training camp. I know the dates have not been released yet but when I drive up this year with my 10 year-old son I'd like to introduce him to some other Saints fans. Do ya'll do any sort of meet-up for TC?

Anyone who has been to TC and has tips, please chime in. Thanks.

Bring sunscreen and money for drinks. Sit on the shady side of the field if it's a late practice. Early practices are sunny no matter where you sit.

It is. We are definately going back this year, but I don't remember the dates. They have been published, and I think it begins in July.

I would reccomend the biggest umbrellas they will allow you in there with. AND, some serious cushining to fully enjoy what all is going on. Not to mention binoculars, camera, and your own permanent marker, just in case you catch a player away from the action and they're willing to give an autograph.

I expect this years training camp to have a lot more people and media.
