Yeah, I think it was pre-season, there was another williams and His first name started with Ri.... I can't remember who, so they both had thier full name on it.

I'm not sure of any exceptions but a quick image search suggests that he didn't have his full name on the jersey during the regular season, but the jersey isn't the same style as those used during that years camp (Note Puma logo above 34 in TC Photo but not in ebay jersey)

during the pre season i remember having 2 ricky williams, the lesser known one who i think was cut and went to the colts attended texas tech........

The Saints had a DB named Robert williams so they both had full names on thier jerseys. Kind of like when the team had Keith and Kevin Mitchell at LB.

What number did the other Ricky Williams RB from Texas Tech wear? He did not make the Saints final 53 man roster and was picked up by the Colts after Haslett cut him that season.
