Will do. We have a great job open in the Mississippi area for a System Measurement Leader. I'm not sure how extensive your measurement experience is but that job is the Manages all of the Measurement activities in a large area of Mississippi.

In Lafayette there are openings for a DOT Compliance Specialist, an Inspector, and a System Corrosion Leader. In the area there is a measurement tech job open in Houma and an operations tech job open in Napoleanville.

I sent a resume. I am a refinery/chem plant contract inspector. I know there are different codes/regulations for pipeline but pipe is pipe and I figured I could at least apply.

How would someone with no oil industry experience get into this line of work and what kind of salary could you expect?

For anyone with ANY pipeline or plant construction, operations, or contractor experience there are two Operations Technicians positions open in area. One is in Baton Rouge and the other is in the Lutcher area.
