XxLiL MoxX 12-10-2006, 10:02 AM Happy Saints Victory Day today everybody.
AKSaintsFan 12-10-2006, 10:12 AM Ok, usually the games come on at 3am here in Korea. But the fact that this is a Sunday night game, the game will come on at 10:30am...So, I took a day of leave. Cannot miss this game!! And, well this sorta gets Monday out of the way......5 more days and I am home in New Orleans!!!
primadox 12-10-2006, 10:55 AM Drew and I have tickets to the LSU/Texas basketball game here in Houston tonight, so it was sort of a bummer that the Saints/Cowgirls game got switched. Now there's another bittersweet aspect to the day....two of my three kids are sick (AGAIN -- we just can't seem to ditch these germs!!), which means it may be problematic to leave them with a sitter tonight. I volunteered to stay home with them so that Drew could go to the game, assuming they're still feeling lousy by later this afternoon. So the upside is that I may get to see the Saints play, but the downside is that I'd be home with two sick boys and a little girl who is going through a supreme brat phase right now....I'm not sure which of us would be getting the better end of the deal, frankly!! :dunno:
Saint77 12-10-2006, 11:02 AM Double edged sword for me today. Im so used to firing up Saints radio and the pregame, and watching a 1:00 game. Now I gotta wait til much later. And, ill probably not get much sleep tonight. On the other hand, today I get to eyeball all the other games on the ticket.
Whatever.
WHODAT!!
Infamous504 12-10-2006, 11:06 AM 11:05 it going be a long day.
bclemms 12-10-2006, 11:31 AM What is the score?
The Geaux Team 12-10-2006, 11:43 AM GEAUX SAINTS!/BEAT COWGIRLS!
primadox 12-10-2006, 02:04 PM Child #2 has spiked a 103 degree+ fever (bummer), so it looks like I will be skipping the LSU/Texas bb game tonight (major bummer) and staying home to watch the Saints (not a bummer), with 2 sick kids and the bratty daughter (bummer again). I'll have the notebook fired up in front of the HDTV, and I'll see y'all in chat tonight (also not a bummer, but rather quite fun).
As long as we don't have to end up at a doc-in-the-box or the emergency room tonight....yeesh, I wish I could get these kids all well at the SAME TIME.
.
MickelMouse87 12-10-2006, 02:11 PM Aikman just said that Saints could very well win tonight....I'm absolutely shocked to hear him say that.
Geaux Saints!
Saint James 12-10-2006, 03:44 PM Bump for the best thread of the day.
saintcool13 12-10-2006, 04:34 PM Can't wait to see Romo flat on his back!
Carbon 12-10-2006, 04:48 PM This has got to be the longest day ever. I can't even seem to find solace in watching other football games. I love the national spotlight...but I need kickoff already.

You're hubby's getting the best end of the deal and I wish I'd have known and been friends w/ you guys so I could've driven down for the LSU/UT game; Geaux Tigers! Sorry about the kiddo's and sending good wishes for no ER visit. Give the kids an extra shot of Niquel (sp?) at 6:00 so they'll be chilled for the game. Two hours and four minutes to go...

Well, I had to let hubby have this one, since I got to go to the LSU NC game and he didn't ....I definitely got the better deal that time!
Thanks for the get-well wishes, and I agree that Nyquil + kids = freedom to watch football, LOL. Too bad that the really sick one is the one that would truly watch the game with me. I have a stash of dvd's and a ton of microwave popcorn ready for the other two! The really sick one has finally broken his fever, and is sleeping peacefully.
Less than two hours to go.... :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers:
MickelMouse87 12-10-2006, 06:06 PM Mike Detillier picked the Cowgirls....unbelievable....
