Was the loss a bump in the road or a sign of things to come?

It was`a reality check. It will make team stronger and more focused going into the play-off.
I think Caoch Payton is saving his bullets ,so he doesn;t go to the battle with empty guns .
He's a forward thinking coach, that sees the big picture.A new concept for us Saints fans

should have had the Saints were sleepwalking, after Dallas they were emotionally and pyhsically spent,

I don't buy the sleepwalking, emotionally spent line. I think we got our a**** handed to us because we were getting big heads. Hopefully the loss was at the right time and we get focused again.

Any meaningful proof to subtantiate your claim of the Saints getting "a big head"... Or, are you just letting off steam?

No proof, thats why I said "i think", I just hope we tighten up so we can make a strong run in post season. And yeah, I am letting off some steam too....

Best thing that could have happened to us. We realize we are very beatable and will work HARDER going into the playoffs, imo
