Cornerback David Leaves Colts to Join Saints
INDIANAPOLIS – Early during this free agency signing period, the Colts lost one of their starting cornerbacks from the past three seasons.
On Thursday, it became official:
They lost the other one, too.
Jason David, a fourth-round selection by the Colts in the 2004 NFL Draft and a starter the past three seasons, officially became a member of the New Orleans Saints Thursday afternoon when the Colts did not match an offer made by New Orleans last week.
“No amount of money shocks me anymore,” Polian said Thursday afternoon at his pre-draft media availability at the Colts’ training facility. “I’m not shocked by it, no, nor were we shocked that they made an offer.” Full Story - Colts.com
