New Orleans Saints linebacker Chris Chamberlain wrote via Twitter on Saturday afternoon that his season is over as he tore his ACL in his left knee during Friday's night preseason loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Chamberlain wrote: "Definitely been feeling the love of my friends, family, and the #WHODATNATION! Unfortunately my season is over but working for 2013 begins!"
Then when asked by someone on Twitter if his ACL was torn, Chamberlain replied, "Yes, went to plant and knee just buckled."
