Just wait until he finds out that she isn't the only female on the planet.
Kids this foolish have a lot of growing to do. Too bad that when he finally does, he'll realize how RIGHT his Mom was all along.

I don't think I've ever seen a sadder announcement before in my life. This ain't over. But kid seems like he's mentally weak. College is going to hit him hard!

That was pretty tough to watch. I'm glad he picked Bama but at the same time I felt bad for his mom she was seriously upset.

If he is like many of us, he will not realize how right mom was until it is too late. Hopefully he realizes it before it is too late.

Her son just chose GF over momma... I would not think she would be happy. It is over though, Collins will be at Bama IMO. As I already said he is a big time recruit and a big add for Bama but LSU and Bama have the kind of programs that will not be made or destroyed by any one recruit.

I kinda feel sorry for the kid and sorry it wasn't a better moment. I still hope he comes to LSU, but the kid needs to follow his own path now. He's an adult. Mommy can't protect him forever and mommy can't protect him from hard hittin Hilliard! He's gonna truck him, son! (Either at LSU during practice or at Bama!)
Even in the video you just posted, he doesn't sound too thrilled about this. At least from Bama's perspective, he sounds he pretty sure. However this is not the reaction you wanna see. Kinda sad.

You know, it's kinda messed up that the mom aired that dirty laundry like that in front of the entire country. Even if she didn't agree with his decision, she shoulda at least supported her son. I wonder if it's cause of Saban or cause she really hates that girl!

What I hear was that Landon's dad is all Bama and since his dad a mom are divorced she is mad because he listened to his dad instead of her.

She just said she felt LSU was the better school for him. Thing is though she should have been supporting him.

I wish him the best. I think mom probably sealed the deal for Bama with her attitude. It sucks to lose a kid of this caliber from LSU's backyard. I predict that this will set back the LSU program, just like when they lost Joe McKnight to SC.
You also have Davante Bourque who has de-committed from LSU, largely because Jeremy Hill will be enrolling in the spring. Fear not for Jeremy Hill is the real deal. Bourque will probably end up at A&M, though. LSU is still in the mix for some seriously talented players like LB Kwon Alexander (from Bama's backyard), LB Lorenzo Phillips, CB Tracy Howard and hopefully DE Mario Edwards.
