Plus gotta admit, it would feel EPIC to steal a top recruit from UT after they stole one from us on signing day!

So when is Outside the Lines going to do their follow up story on Porter?

Diarse could play about four different positions and be good at all of them.

If only LSU had any recent history of success with moving WR prospects to other positions.

Who cares? They can talk about what a piece of **** Les is all they want but bottom line is Porter is at LSU, he is happy, and LSU recruiting has never been at the level it is right now. We've always got the majority of Louisiana recruits we wanted and now we are taking top players from all around the nation.
LSU picked up it's 17th commitment today with 4-star quarterback Anthony Jennings from Georgia. 6'2 202 pounds and runs a 4.5 forty. He has a really nice arm as well and is not a run first quarterback. Better passer than Jeremy Liggins. LSU is at 17 commitments right now and it looks like LSU is going to sign a full 25 this year with some major attrition, lots of LSU players are looking to transfer due to being behind on the depth chart with no playing time being guaranteed for them in the future.

Just goes to show, Les Miles knows more about recruiting than we do, trust the staff, they do their job very well. And also, big props to Adam Henry and Corey Raymond who have been busting their *** recruiting since arriving at LSU. We have taken our national recruiting to a new level this year and hopefully it carries over into next year.

Parker decommitted on June 15 and committed to Texas A&M. Let's see if it holds.

I expect to see more and more competitions between LSU/A&M in the future for recruits. We're about to get a rival, yo!

I haven't read anything that says he committed to A&M yet. His HS teammate Tavares Garner did. Garner did not receive an offer from LSU after they both attended camp in Baton Rouge. The word is that they want to go to the same school. Garner just de-committed from TTU in splendid fashion after some ****ty recruiting by a TTU recruiter.

The reason behind his change of heart?

LSU told Garner that they would continue to keep an eye on him. Aggie has 19 commits right now I think.

his recruiter had a point, crap or get off the pot. Be commited or decommit. The team has to know one way or another, and in a world where 2 star recruits can come in and beat out a 4 or 5 star recruit, the team needs to know if you are on board or if they should give the scholly to somebody else.

His recruiter's job isn't to make points but to bring in talent. I can promise you that Trooper Taylor and Frank Wilson have never spoken to a recruit that way. These guys are paid for results, not making a point. Moral victories are for the Pac-10.
