He's a joke, he quit on Florida because he knew the talent was about to drop off and Tim Tebow was moving on to the NFL. He wanted nothing to do with it anymore especially with teams like BAMA and LSU getting much stronger, probably knew Florida wouldn't be relevant in a few years.

I think its pretty low to bring your health, family into the equation when the real reason is he knew there was going to be a steep drop off in talent.

I just lost a lot of respect for Meyer. He just looks like a scared little boy at the moment. Oh well, nothing a few easy wins in that joke of a conference won't cure.

Les Miles and Nick Saban laugh at you.

Did you just call the Big 10 a joke of a conference? Really?

I don't know how people can fault him, or say he is hiding behind his health or family. It's his call.

The SEC laughs at all conferences, especially the Big 10!

The boy rapers and the lack of institutional control cheaters (yet still can't even beat the SEC) are their premier teams. OSU admitted inferiority by hiring an SEC coach, well the washed up remains of whatever's left of his soul at least. That should be enough to win first or second place every year in the pee wee leagues.

The country is finally ready to recognize SEC Superiority by ignoring all other conferences as the jokes they are and just making the two best SEC teams play for the national title. Honestly, it's the ONLY way an SEC team will ever lose the BCSCG. Sorry Bama, but at least you get to participate in defining LSU's & consequently the SEC's epic dominance.

Didn't the boy rapers beat LSU?

I agree the SEC is dominant, but you can't brush aside the Big 10's history if your going to rail on the SEC's recent dominance in the BCS title game. Sure the SEC has been dominant in the past so what. We are living in the now.

I think Meyer will be fine as long as he goes about this rebuilding thing the right way. He has time to build OSU seeing as how they will probably be prohibited from bowl games for the next year or longer. He can build the team he wants without as much pressure. In about 2 or 3 years Ohio St could be scary as by then Meyer can get his guys seasoned, and understanding his system.

People saying the SEC was getting too tough, and he was scared. Meyer was still pulling top 5 recruiting classes when he left. He had a great qb in Brantly, and other skill players that fit his mold of success in the SEC. How can you bad mouth one of the most winningest coach in SEC history. Dude still has 2 crystal balls.
