So Southeastern plays Missouri Tigers WK1
I guess this will be Mizzou's easy win for the season. I see the Tigers winning by 15+ points easily. I still plan on making the road trip up there with some friends because the trip in itself will be fun. But man what a tough way to start the season. Would be epic is SLU won @Missouri though.

I love a good sports road trip as much as the next guy, but I gotta applaud your enthusiasm to see a road trip you know will result in an epic beatdown of your team. Not sure I could do that while knowing we will get crushed, so that's pretty impressive. Good luck on your road trip and I hope ya'll pull-off the upset of the year! Catch em sleeping SeLu!

Yea, we are in the process of recruiting one more friend to make the trip possible. We know it will be a blowout win for the Tigers. But like I mentioned earlier, the fun will be in the trip itself. The drive there and back and being at their campus and surrounding area. I only wish that SLU would have just scheduled against LSU since either one would be a blowout loss so might as well make the drive not as far. But who knows, if Appalachian State could catch Michigan with their pants down, then who knows. Stranger things have happened.
And thanks!
Edit: I wonder if SLU will now be scheduling an SEC opponent each season for now on? Maybe LSU will be next year.

I'm sure you've been to BR a million times anyways, might as well go explore somewhere new. Have a blast, take lots of pictures for us since most of us probably don't have a clue what our new SEC member's campus is like and hopefully you'll pull off the upset! I'm still bummed they are in the SEC, but might as well humiliate them now as it would be more of an indictment of the Big 12 than the SEC this year anyways. Rep Louisiana proud!

Well we have signed up for tickets, hopefully there is enough to where we get ours. I wouldn't think that many people are going, but could be wrong since it is against a major conference team. I wonder how many tickets a small school like SLU gets for road games?

Yikes. When I was there I had 1 year to enjoy it before graduating. We seemed to be headed in the right direction. Although we had some great coaches then.

Yea, I think SEC or other major conference teams are still out of SLU's league.

SeLu, did you get to go to the game? If so, how did you enjoy the road trip other than the score? I was thinking about ya and wondering how the outcome of the game went earlier, was surprised to see the outcome of this matchup. Hopefully you had the time of your life despite that though.
