It depends how good that one trick is.

Side note. I was curious about Tampas Richardson pick. Im not overly familiar with the man so i must ask. Im reading that people are saying they think he will be a one trick pony and question in whether or not he can catch the nall out of the backfield. This is also the reason i think Blount is catching heat. Will trent's hands prove ro be more reliable than his?
In this draft, Cleveland took Richardson.

But let's say Tampa takes him in the actual draft. One extremely important thing that Richardson excels at that Blount doesn't is pass-blocking. That's really the main reason Tampa takes Blount out of the offense so much. He's completely useless in passing situations.

I guess i wasnt the only one who inquired about the jump ha. Fair deal indeed, but steep. He is who i would have made it for though too. The QB of the team who gets him will be a happy camper

Fair enough. Me personally, Im just not high on him. I could be wrong though, I am def not a great QB evaluator. I just look at the tape, read the scouting reports, and follow my gut. Last year my gut was right on Dalton and Gabbert, wrong on Cam. I liked Cam, I just thought it would take him a long time to develop and he would be one of those "1 read and run" type of QB's. I was shocked by the confidence he showed standing in the pocket and making stick throws.

But I agrree, it will best serve Tannehill to sit a year, or even take a huge fall in the draft to p him off and work harder at becoming great.

I would think the jury would still be out on Dalton and "Duck and Cover" Blaine. Dalton had a good rookie season and Gabbert not so much, but I think at least one more year of evaluation is needed on both.

I've messaged him. Waiting on his response. I've got his pick if he doesn't show.

I'm sure there were plenty of people that were wrong about Cam (I was one), I wasn't surprised by Dalton, he had put together multiple decent season at TCU not just some one year wonder

Tannehill's rise up the charts is solely a product of the NFL's game of QB musical chairs. Like most Aggy, he's a smoke and mirrors player. He looks the part, but he does not put together anything close to a whole game of production.

Two seasons ago, Tannehill benefited from a great rushing attack, and protected the ball in Mike Sherman's pro-style offense. This past season, Aggy was supposed to contend with top veteran skill players on offense. But, after staking out big leads, they imploded in the 2nd halves of games, and Tannehill could never get them that last score they needed to win late. They won 6 or 7 games, when they should've won 10 or 11.

Sure the jury is still out, but, As Dennis Green said, they were, who we thought they were!

Dalton to me was a solid, smart quarterback with decent measurables and a nice pocket presence. Reminded me a lot of Drew Brees. In the right system I felt he would be solid. He was managed well with Cincy, and pairing him with AJ was brilliant (cant believe I am saying that about Cincy FO). Not saying guy is going to be a stud, but he can be if wants to be and if he has the right scheme.

I just never got it with Gabbert. Chase played in the same system for years, and put up ridiulous amounts of yards and TD's, and W's. Gabbert, in that same system was mediocre. Chase went UDFA, Gabbert went top 10. It was a lot of projection with Gabbert in my opinion, he had all the measurables you want, tall, nice arm, athletic enough, smart, etc. But I just didnt see it. I get that same feeling with Tannehill.
