Gotta blame Payton on this just about as much.

You know what play call he is calling, you have the chance to override him, I would have immediately called a timeout to talk things out with Williams and tell him by no means is someone to get past our defenders on a big play. Just keep everything in front of us and the clock will run out on them.

I don't see how Payton let him go through with that horrendous play call.

I've never seen anything more pathetic than Williams in the last 5 minutes.

He had 2 chances to get a stop and gave up two touchdowns....

He single handedly ruined the best Saints team ever.

No he wasn't. It was zone.

Offense redeemed themselves, that last set of defensive play calls was our kill-shot, he needs to go, you don't get second chances to hold on to a lead in the game of your life

Not even this.

How about allowing a 27 yard TD on a QB SWEEP

Well actually that saved us, believe it or not.

If he's smart, he falls down at the 1 so they can simply run the clock out and kick the game winning FG.

But instincts says score, so he did.

What's worse about the Davis catches is they were simple toss it up and hope it lands in your hands. Up for grabs for anyone but none of our Saints to make a play.

Jenkins is no free safety. He may hit like one but he does not have the vision or instincts to be a field general.

I couldn't understand why Malcolm was at the line -- before the play I screamed NO NO get back, get back and then... crap. :/

I said it when he was coming out of college - Jenkins seems like a great person so it sucks to say, but his play has been exaggerated. He's an average safety at best. That said, its your DC's job to know that and to play to win. You don't put "that" guy on their best guy, particularly in that situation, when your guy has already lost that match-up throughout the day.

Its been a bad week for Louisiana football...

Especially because alex smith was going to blow 25 seconds between plays trying to figure out what he was doing

Alex Smith was trying to give the game away, but Gregg Williams refused. Unbelievable.

After the FIRST time of Davis burning the defense on a big play, they get a second chance, and run the SAME defense! Mind boggling!

Need someone to explain why Harper was where he was on the last td
If you're gonna live or die with blitz why not have Harper blitz
#1 on sacks and weak on coverage
Seems backwards to me

How greg williams leaves Davis singled with 4.3 speed with our safeties REPEATEDLY is beyond me.

I still love gw williams but i hope that this was a learning experience for him. Double or even tripple Davis and we win. I just cant believe that he allowed this.

5 turnovers by our offense and special teams and people still have a hard on to lay all the blame on GW. Is there a witch hunt or what?
