Adam shaheen baby gronk or lil jimmy

My hopeful late round pick is Adam shaheen from a small school. He looks like a coach running over his pop Warner players. This is my second Adam shaheen post does anyone else like him as a late round pick or is he too much of a want or not enough of a need to be wearing a saints jersey this year. I may be over looking his weaker opponents. I don't know if his game can transfer to the NFL and take snaps from fleener and take Josh hill spot. I just like his

I don't think you can call him baby or little anything unless you are talking about an O lineman. That dude is bigger than both Gronk and Jimmy.

I like him with one of our 3rd picks provided we don't go with OJ Howard at #11

He didn't play against any kind of real competition. What's with the love affair for this dude? His name pops up on here a lot. Could someone make a legit strong case for this guy?

He's big and looks to have nice body control and is noticeably athletic with good hands for his size.

For better or for worse though, I definitely wouldn't compare him to Gronk based on the footage I've seen. For being such a big dude, playing against weak competition, he sure shies away from contact a lot. I don't see him physically taking it to anybody in that video, much less dominating them the way Gronk does.

I hate when people give this argument. Jimmy Graham only played 1 year of college football and wasn't exactly spectacular his SR year. Coach Payton saw a combination of skill set and body frame he could exploit. Sometimes thats all it takes.

Maybe a bigger Moritz Boehringer.

Let's not get crazy saying he's Gronk/Jimmy. The highest level he played against was a micro-step above high school competition.

W/his hands and ability attack the seams at his size and speed, Shaheen would be a star in our offense. I think a receiving TE, not so much a receiving back, is what we need the most on O. We paid Fleener, but the man has 50/50 hands at best. That's just not gonna cut it. Shaheen, Engram, Everett, and Butt would be deadly weapons at Drew's disposal.

It's a legit question. The league sees an enormous amount of prospects his size, who possesses his size/speed/athleticism, and produce at the D1 level, and they fizzle out in the NFL. Plus, I'm pretty sure SP was not certain that JG was going to turn out to be what he was for us. So, you could just try an answer my question of why YOU think Adam will be a stud

Oh my! Very nice find. Dude looks fast for his size and had really good hands and agility. For anyone interested, here is his combine summary.

This is not Baby Gronk. This is Gronk 2.0. The steal of the draft. And he has a mean streak. Peterman and Shaheen would be a haul in the 3rd. Good post - thx
