Those fake jersey's are $30-$40 bucks a piece. The ones I have look just like the real ones and as long as authentic jersey's are $250, I'll buy the fake ones all day.
I've always thought the fakes are easy to spot a mile away. The numbers are too small and close together. The stitching patterns are noticeably different, and the Fleur de Lis on the sleeves are terrible. I have a couple of authentics and there most certainly is a difference. But hey, nothing wrong with saving $$ if they look good.

The jersey companies will just put up new web sites. No jersey is worth $250. They are all made in the far east and cost of production of a fake isn't much different then the cost of production of a "authentic". The reason the fake market is so large is because the NFL has overpriced its product.
I think its CRIMINAL to take advantage of the fans that are passionate about their favorite sport/teams by charging 300 dollars for a shirt to show their pride. On top of that, the three tiers of jerseys that Nike offers are crap with the exception of the most expensive. Red thumb me if you like, but I have kids to feed, but I'm a passionate Saints fan. I'd still buy the knockoffs.
LOL, I am living in China. It is really hard to find something that isn't fake here. Some of the fakes are really good fakes too. One merchants stuff was so good, my wife bought a bunch of it for her family and mine. I also haven't bought a legit DVD since I have been here. To be perfectly honest, I don't think I could if I tried.

Haha thats what my brother said when he lived in China. Said he spent like 20 US dollars total and came back with about 200 DVDs.
My problem with Official NFL jerseys are that they are rediculously priced. Being a season ticket holder; when prices are going up every year, they are paying these athletes more money than ever, and they want to charge $250 for a jersey that cost maybe $5 to make...
Don't buy them in the first place; who knows who the money ends up with. I personally don't want to fund anything but legitimate businesspeople and not criminals.
Implying what the nfl charges for merchandise isn't criminal
I have mine made in the Philippines, hand stitched in the laps of virgins.
I know i'm getting ripped off, but the thought alone is worth the $20.00 bucks.
