i don't care about the weather but outdoor games suck. I hated Tiger Stadium, the sun was always in my eyes, the shadow on the field caused problems, you can't here anything on the PA or the music from the speakers. You can't have the cool light shows. The climate in the dome is always better than outside. We wouldn't get as many functions in the dome, and the Superdome is the face of the city and the team.
Superdome with some new features and new suites beats a new stadium anyday.

Lol, me from the country? New Iberia has a population of about 45,000, St. Martinville has a population of about 2,000 if that. All stores there sell animal feed or tractors. The average job in St. Martinville is farming.

You must've never watched or been to the Dome to deny what I just said(the Seats, the concourses, trying to get in the Dome etc).
The ONLY reason the Dome is a good experience to watch a game is because of the GREAT fans we have.

Never said a 3 piece suit, come on now....How about a regular pair of tennis shoes. If you are going to wear flip-flops, socks would be nice, bare feet and flip flops/sandals do not go together my friend. actually jeans and flip-flops never should go together. Shorts, jogging pants and flip-flops are cool though, like I said there's a time and place for it(at the beach, at home, going to the gas station).
Jeans with holes in them?? where do people get them from?? The dumpster?? Actually it does remind me of someone who just rolled out of bed, and quite frankly I never did understand that. Have a little respect for yourself(but I understand that's the ridiculous style these days, to not care what what you look like at all) put on a clean looking shirt, a pair of socks and pair of jeans that don't look like they just went through World War II...
I was raised by men who actually used an iron and didn't buy jeans that look 5 years old. Usually when you get a hole in them you throw them away not continue to wear them.
The thing is there's a time to dress casual and then there's a time not to. It just seems to me that many kids these days don't care what they put on anymore. It looks like they pulled it out from the dirty clothes hamper.:dunno:
I'll say the same thing about dudes who wear pants the fall of their ***, the worse part is most of them have belts but don't tighten it up, if that's what you like fine, but to me that **** look dumb.

You own yourself again, saying that you can't look "half-way decent" in public without socks with you sandals or flip flops.

It says your from St.Martinville on your profile, and by your attitude on life it sounds like your a little behind the times which most St.Martinville peoples are. You can't call New Iberia "country" because it is one of the most heavily populated cities in Louisiana and has many modern buisnesses which St. Martinville can't claim. Besides I plan on moving to New Orleans in about 3 years.

Here is a revolutionary idea. Build a new stadium within 10 years, and put it where the Iberville projects are now located on Canal. Not only would you expand Canal Street, but you would also have room to tailgate.

Where in that, did I say "I wear Flip Fops with socks" or overalls for that matter?? You're the one making things up. Besides why do you seem so offended by something I said, I can't help it if people(maybe you) dress like a slob.
All I said was people look dumb when they wear flip flops in public(among other things) especially with no socks, where you gotta see some dudes crusty *** feet.
If I do wear flip flops it would be right when I roll out of bed in the morning.

People talk about that alot but there would be people complaining about tearing down the projects. Even though you plan on building a neighborhood for the people in the projects. Some people don't see the big picture.
Still, keep the Dome. Until I die, hopefully in the 80's.

I only live in Saint Martinville because of Katrina, I'm from New Orleans and moved to Chalmette when I was 14 or 15 years old. You're right Saint Martinville is definitely WAY too for me.
Attitude on Life?? Hhahaha, I mention one thing I don't like about a current style and now I'm backwards, I don't know what to say.....

There are people complaining, but from my understanding(my brother knows some people who work for the city) those Projects are coming down, its just a matter of when.

Is it way too country for you? Judging from your previous posts it sounds like you fit right in......

You jump in this thread and talk **** because you can't get over the fact that I ragged on your stupid style of dress. I'm not even going to entertain that subject anymore.
If you deny that the Dome is cramped, old and outdated, then you my friend are the one that is backwards. Anybody with half a brain will tell you that it needs a tremendous amount of overhauling/upgrades to get it up to par with most of the new stadiums around the country. It's going to take more then a few Jumbo screens and new turf to make it "State of the Art."
A new stadium is the way to go. Not millions of dollars spent on mere patch work.
