Drew On OTL Right Now at 2PM - Live Via Satellite
Point blank question:
Commentator - Are you willing to sit out?
Drew - "I would never sit out a football season. I love this game too much, I love my team too much."
Nice to hear.

Thanks, J-bud. Cuz you or me saying it and Drew saying it are exactly the same thing.

It will be interesting to see how this comment plays in the media. Earlier this off-season, Wes Welker said that there were "9 Million reasons why he would never sit out"
The media at least some in the media criticized him basically saying that he had at that point given NE the upper hand in negotiations and they could just wait it out until he signed the franchise tag offer.
This is essentially the same thing Drew just said and I'm wondering if the media will react the same way with him.
Of course, I'm thankful that he is in fact saying this.

Repeated what he said about coaches fearing retribution for speaking out and added that some comments attributed to the coaches have been manufactured by the NFL.
