I would love to be put in his position... Making tens (hundreds!) of millions of dollars to PLAY A GAME. Let's be real people, these guys are being paid millions of dollars to play a game to ENTERTAIN us. They are entertainers and entertainers are earning a huge chunk of money in our society... That's messed up.

My whole life I will most likely not even see 2 million dollars total and I believe my contribution to society, positively affecting kids' lives and futures, is more important than an athlete playing a game, and I believe I should be rewarded as such. So, with that said, your point is all a matter of perspective. As much as I like watching Drew PLAY, I don't think he OR ANY OTHER ATHELETE is worth that kind of money to PLAY A GAME.

Another take:

The Saints are who they are today more because of SPayton than DBrees. Drew's good, but he's got those stats mostly because of the system he's in. The system is a lot bigger and more important than people realize.

Riddle me this.. Would Drew Brees really have become Drew Brees in Miami??
