To everyone asking about who snitched
How many players have come and gone in the past 3 years? At least 50%. Why is it any surprise that players would talk? One year they are with the Saints and aware of the bounty and the next year they are with another team facing the Saints?
Any surprise somebody would talk?
That's why the management of our team were absolute idiots to let this go on for three years.
These "who snitched?" comments are idiotic.

It doesn't matter who snitched... the fact that there's 90 million documents of evidence is mind-blowing. I blame the team for being dumb enough to let them find THAT.
As its been said, and will be said until this blows over... this "bounty" thing has been and will go on. Just don't get caught, or in our case... don't get caught with your hand in the cookie jar.

The person who snitched had to of been apart of the team this year, because the allegations include the 2011 season.

No one ratted..... People talk and it got around to Goddell who lauched an investigation........ Kinda like when u hook up with a nasty girl n u tell a few friends and 2 days later everyone knows about it

The coaching staff is either incredibly stupid or showed a complete disregard for the NFL league office. The worst part of it was that they were told to stop and they did not.
How can you cry "conspiracy" when they were given a chance to stop it without penalty?
This is what they call in college sports a "lack of institutional control."

This. But that had to be a lot of talking for league to generate a large report. Also, someone who was with the team had to talk or it wouldn't be conclusive evidence. Somebody is a snitch and lacks honors.

They investigated in 2010 and found nothing. The investigation was reopened this year and they got caught. Idiots.

I would be willing to bet that those "documents" were generated by the NFL not the Saints.

I imagine that players have friends on other teams so whose to say that someone told a friend on another team about getting paid to hurt players

OR MAYBE there was just someone on the team, quite possibly on the offense, who wasn't cool with a bounty system in place that rewarded injuring opposing offensive players.
Some people might even call that person reasonable or ethical.
Sounds like you think that person would be a "snitch" or "lacked honor". I'm guessing you and I have slightly different value systems.
