For those in the know a question
When they say Randy looked good in workout, who threw the passes?
Do you bring in Drew for this? Chase? Canfield?
How do you have a workout for a WR
when the QBs are off?

Brian Brohm..former Packers, Bills, and Louisville QB. Saints worked him out too, but it likely was just to throw for Moss

Any reasonably athletic person can stand still and throw a football to a guy running routes. There's no pressure, no drop back, etc.
It's all about seeing how Moss runs, cuts, etc.

They brought in a former GB backup.

Saints would be crazy (actually some words that would be censored on here) if they let Moss leave town and make another stop to some other teams. I really hope they're negotiating a contract right now as we speak and the news about it will come out in a few more hours. I find it hard to believe Moss lights it up and you don't offer him anything.

I'm reasonable athletic, but you obviously haven't seen me throw a football.

I would rather see us put our efforts and focus on improving the defensive side of the ball. Our offense is fine. It's our defense that is offensive.

Didn't Ocho cinco only have 10 catches all year????

There is no indication that the Saints plan to "immediately" offer a contract to Randy Moss after the free agent's impressive workout Tuesday, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
The workout was "more likely" a chance to update the scouting report by seeing what kind of shape Moss is in. The Times-Picayune does confirm multiple national reports that Moss' workout for the Saints was "impressive." Mar 6 - 4:00 PM

Per rotoworld....SOB. Please let it be that they're going to offer him a contract and just being tight-lipped for the time being.

All that means is that we haven't said anything about wanting to sign him. You know Loomis likes to play his cards close to the vest.

The reports don't lie. People said today that he couldn't have looked better.
When Randy Moss is engaged, there is no better WR in the league. He knows that he messed up a good thing with New England and doesn't want to end his legacy on that note.

How many titles has he been a part of?

Do you think he doesn't watch football? Do you think that Payton himself is going to neglect to tell him the nature of our offense. Moss isn't stupid. If he signs a contract, he's going to accept that particular role. If he doesn't like the sound of that then he won't be here.
Ochocinco failed because he couldn't pick up the offense. Belichick has said that he has not coached a WR smarter than Randy Moss.

How many titles was Steve Largent a part of? What's your point?
Moss got to a SB and did everything he possibly could to win that game, and they should've won.

Yeah, yeah.... But how often will he choose to do this 100% of the time?
Pass
