There is nothing more important to a team’s success than a talented offensive line. In 2011, the Saints line helped the club’s offensive unit set a new NFL single-season record, amassing 7,474 total net yards.
Right guard Jahri Evans, left guard Carl Nicks, and left tackle Jermon Bushrod, three starters on the o-line, were all named to the Pro Bowl at the end of last season. The line also featured two new additions to the starting lineup: center Brian de la Puente and right tackle Zach Strief.
This is what makes the Saints different than any other team in the NFL, every player working hard, knowing how good this team is and still a Super Bowl contender even through this mess.
