How bad did Drew get hurt on that play?
Listen...lets not kid ourselves. Something happened to him. Drew never limps for no reason. That guy jacked him up. I know Drew is a brave soul who will never show the defense any weakeness but you can tell he was hurting. I don't know what the deal is. Something has gone wrong. Hopefully they will pull it together.

Ankle I read. It hurt him but he came back. See how it responds through the week. He took a beating today.

I think he may have some swelling, and need to have it iced through out this week but I think he'll be fine for next week, mild sprain maybe?

not only was he slammed down on that play (borderline flagrant/excessive), but the jerking him back to the ground was unnecessary.

Welcome to the product of the NFL. The refs are going to get someone hurt bad before it's all over with unfortunately.

It was a legal hit!!! Guys, stop being so ridiculous bc you know how you'd react over that being called against us. He wasn't slammed down, his body was awkwardly contorted and the positioning of his legs under the defender forced Drew down in the other directions quickly and painfully. He was in no way "flung". The hit was to the middle of Drew's body and the defender happened to slide down and their collective momentum just made it look worse than it was. Read or understand the rules before saying these things.

He got his ankle twisted a bit. He shook it off. He refused medical attention at first, but then I think they just wrapped it up a little or just took a look and put his shoe back on. He was fine afterwards with no limping.. he ran a few bootlegs too. So, he's probably fine. Very lucky.

These first two weeks of the season have been really tough on Drew.
If these hits keep up he may miss some time before the year is out.

If that were Tom Brady, tell me a flag would not have been thrown. Be honest.

If we don' get some NFL caliber tackles from free agency or draft, Drew will be taking a beating for years to come.

We likely may not know until the season ends. He played half of the 2010 season with an MCL strain and we didn't know it until after the season was over.
