Now if you had said just that, not so many would have disagreed. I think your problem here, and the reason so many have "face-palmed", is you said in the OP that "Drew will sign (somewhere) first, I think." And the title of your post is asking how much Drew's next move will influence Peyton's, which also assumes Drew will make a move before Peyton.
Thing is, Peyton will sign somewhere within a few days, at most. Drew is tagged, and even if some weird eventuality occurs (which isn't out of the question, by any means), it isn't going to happen for weeks, or more likely, months... or even after next season.
Of course Drew's situation is linked with Bounty-gate, and Manning's choices (and eventual contract). I've posted on that myself. Peyton's contract most certainly will influence Drew's, and Loomis's, decisions. Bounty-gate and upcoming penalties could make Drew (heaven forbid) turn sour on the Saints. I don't think it will, but it's a legitimate possibility.
But there's no way Drew is going to sign anywhere else before Peyton. Peyton's shopping and on the fast track. Drew is tagged and negotiating (can ONLY negotiate) with the Saints.
