No he is not 100%. Ingram walked with a limp in mini camp. He was held out. Hopefully he will be full go when TC starts.

I saw one of the picks of Ingram from this weeks OTA's. It looked like he gained 10 to 15 pounds. Can anybody vouch for that? Because I don't have the best vision.

even as one of the biggest opposers of the whole trading up for ingram (or getting ingram regardless) things his fragility is not yet a sign of worry, his knee is unfortunate given his history but his toe is just one of those things that happen

What's the general feeling of Ingram amongst Saints fans? Personally, I am always impressed with Pierre Thomas. It violates my strict rule of never appreciating anyone named, "Pierre", but he seems to be really underrated to me.

bleh, relax. He's awesome and won't have many issues this season and will produce..... greatly.. not Duece style, but the closest we've had since.

Pierre is an animal when on the field but he can't do it alone. Ingram did very well for us lat year at what he was asked to do. He kept drives alive better than any back before injury

Comparably, I'm thinking that as far as running style, Ingram is closest to Ivory. Up the gut, knocking defenders back for those short yardage situations. Tough yards. That style player is usually labeled "injury prone". And it's usually an unfair label.
Regarding the limp, Ingram himself has said that the procedure he had done this offseason was the least invasive of knee surgeries.
He'll be ready on time. I hope so. I'm thinking that we're gonna see a more balanced attack this year, with Payton having been stolen from us.

I thought the general feeling was that Pierre and Ivory can handle the load why did we draft Ingram...i'm an Ingram fan but I was excited about the gem we found in Ivory and thought after we lost Reggie we would insert Ivory into the mix and promote Pierre to the starter because of his overall ability as a running back fit the most of a guy we would want in our versatile backfield...Sproles was then brought in to fill the role Reggie felt he was to big for (who can blame him) and Sproles fit the mold perfectly.....then we added Ingram and its like....why? we thought it was a slight against a certain player so that offseason we had PT trade bait or Ivory injuy career threatening...people just trying to make sense of it all.
All these guys are talented and the league has made a switch to position values and RB has become a more under appreciated position though the players there may still be just as talented so it leads to teams having more than one back and not putting it all on one back and they can spread the money elsewhere because when you platoon players they dont gain the yards a every down back would gain and therefore cant ask for big money

Ingram was absolutely nothing special at all last year. We have a stable of backs where none can get over 150 carries. He is highly overrated by Saints fans
