Martez Wilson predicts he'll be the Saints sack leader this season
In the comment section of the cover photo on his official facebook page. Gotta love that confidence!

I'm a big Spags fan, but considering Roman Harper was our sack leader last year with7.5 sacks...it's not that lofty of a goal.
That being said, with the addition of Bunkley and Spag's scheme I see our DLine getting much more pressure than previous seasons, since that's Spagnuolo's forte. If Tez works at it, it's quite possible with his skill set.

That's his fan page right? So he didn't actually predict anything? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I wish he would've gave out an actual number like 10 or 15. I'm seeing at least 10. It would all depend on how much he's on the field. He obviously must feel extremely confident in Spags putting him on the field a lot by talking about the HOF and now predicting being the team's sack leader. He'll have every opportunity to do so with Will Smith being out the first 4 games. If he lights it up during that stretch, then the job should be his the rest of the way. Like you said, Spags' system caters to getting pressure from the D-Line so it's a perfect match for his skillset.
For anyone wondering, someone left a comment about Shanle should be cut and then got butthurt and cursed the guy out for correcting him. I guess either he or Tez deleted the comment

It's actually him based on the other stuff he's been posting and has the links to his twitter and tumblr accounts; it just says 'fan page' in the title. There isn't any other MW page on facebook

Yea I can see him being the sack leader provided he gets the opportunities to blitz from the LB position and play some DE. Although Gallette has a decent chance too, especially since he can use a spin move now.

The possibilities with Martez Wilson are endless... I can't wait to see what he does with us under Spags scheme. The kid will be an absolute nightmare on that D-line.

I think Gallette has a better shot at being the sack leader this year than Martez does,i think we all forget about him, But Wilson will be in the top 4 rotation along with Gallette so its about making the most out your opportunity.

Wilson will start if he has good enough technique and solid rush moves. He's just flatout athletically better than anyone on the defense. He has the measurables of a dominant pass rusher and looks like a dominant pass rusher and can be a dominant pass rusher with that power and speed combination.
