Mock draft ver 3 includes UDFA possibilities

1. (11) Malik Hooker OSU because of hernia surgery and a torn labrum he will slide to us at 11. While it's not a huge need the best safety prospect since Eric Berry will be hard to pass up.

1. (32) Adoree Jackson, CB USC this is the contingent if we don't trade for Butler. Jackson is a speedy CB who had 5 picks and returned 2 kick offs and 2 punts for TDs

2. (42) Takkarist McKinley, DE/OLB UCLA a long and explosive pass rushing specialist, he will struggle some against the run buy that can be coached up over time.

3. (76) Jordan Willis, DE Kansas St one of the more underrated players he has length and agility to be a solid pass rusher in most years he would go higher but with the depth this year he falls to us here. With our lacking pass rush the past couple of years we need to double dip.

3. (96) Julie'n Davenport OT Bucknell a long athletic OT 6'6 with 36" arms he will need a season before he's ready but the potential is there. Reads a lot like Armstead when we drafted him.

6. Elijah McGuire, RB ULL an instant upgrade over Cadet Murphy

7. Jalen Reeves-Mabin ILB Tennessee he is a speedy , instinctive LB he is a little bit undersized and recovering from a shoulder injury but he's definitely worth a shot here.

UDFA
RB Shock Linwood 5-8 200, 4.52 40 a quick slashing runner he averaged 5.5 ypc as a senior and 6.8 as a junior.

RB Victor Darius, Towson 5-8 217, 4.55 40 had over 2300 yards as a sophomore and junior and 27 TDs only played in 4 games on 2016 due to an injury.
Between these 2 and McGuire we should be able to upgrade over Murphy and Cadet

FB Sam Rogers VaTech 5-11 239, a dangerous receiver and give us depth behind Kuhn and possible heir

OLB Blair Brown OLB, Ohio 5-11 238, 4.65 40 a slightly undersized but productive linebacker.

The next 4 are possible late round pick alternatives with a chance the could be UDFA's

DE Darius English S. Carolina 6-6 238, 4.65 40 an undersized pass rusher he had 9 sacks on the season a year on the PS and he could compete in 2018

WR Josh Malone Tenn. 6-3 208, 4.40 a productive WR who las limited by inconsistent QB play. Is worth a shot late. Had 50 catches for 972 yards and 11 TDs

TE Sean Culkin, Missouri 6-6 250; 4.67 40 an athletic blocking TE who flashed some receiving skills when given the chance. Had 24 catches for 284 yards.

TE Pharaoh Brown, Oregon 6-6 255, 4.68 40 a quality receiving TE who bounced back from injury last year. Had 33 receptions for 426 yards and 5 TDs

I'd take the hell out of that draft.

You think SP could resist the temptation of going 4 picks w/o a single pick on offense?

Elijah went to UL Lafayette (Ragin' Cajuns), not La Tech (Bulldogs) but good draft.

Would love that draft but I think your first four pick will all be first rounders. Early second at worst. JMO

I like the Elijah McGuire pick in the sixth. I hope he is still there.

Finally, a realistic mock that I can actually agree with! Youre 3 RDs, save for Davenport(Who makes sense too), mirrors mine. I would go W/Kevin King over Jackson(Jackson may go in the 20's), but Jackson would be awesome if fell that far. The UDFA's I would add are Kai Kakua S BYU and JoJo Mathis EDGE WASH. Excellent mock though.

Right even if Jackson is gone there are a few guys all graded out similarly. After Jackson my 2nd choice would be Fabian Moreau from UCLA, White from LSU, Tabor and Wilson from Florida and Tanker sly from Clemson.

Moreau would be fun though nickname him Dr Moreau and put him out there on an island lol.

Edit didn't realize auto correct changed Moreau to Norway.

Realistic? When I put Malik Hooker as my pick at 11, all I got was no way he is there. i actually agree with OP that we have a slim chance that Hooker will be there. All we need is Mike Williams &/or Cam Robinson to be picked in the top 10. I don't think Takk will make it to 42, but you never know for certain. I doubt Willis makes it to 76 as well. We need a QB to go in the top 10, but unfortunately this QB class stinks. I could see the draft going like this:

1. Browns: Myles Garrett - no brainer
2. 49ers: Mitch Trubisky - not sure what they do here, hope QB
3. Bears: Jonathan Allen - no brainer
4. Jags: Leonard Fournette - think they will not be able to pass
5. Titans: Marshon Lattimore - they need a corner bad
6. Jets: Marlon Humphrey - they also need a corner bad
7. Chargers: Jamal Adams - they need a OT, but also a safety and go with healthy one
8. Panthers: Solomon Thomas - not sure what they will do
9. Bengals: Reuben Foster - could use a LB
10. Bills: Mike Williams - need another playmaker at receiver bad
11. Saints: Malik Hooker - would be dancing all night long lol
