N/S Lofa Tatupu has pectoral injury OUT FOR SEASON (*MERGED*)
Losing their starting MLB to us is going to bite them in the rear this year.
Quote:
|
“Lofa sustained a pectoral injury while working out yesterday,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said on the team’s Web site. “At this point, we do not know the extent of the injury, but we expect to have more information early next week.”

I'm always glad to see bad things happen to the falcons but I would never be happy about an injury to one of there players. Get well soon Lofa we want the falcons at there best.

Could be a season ender. Mario Williams was put on IR in early October last year with a torn pec muscle.
Elvis Dumervil missed the entire season when suffering a torn pectoral in early August.
We do have that new injured reserve rule this year, but torn pec muscles normally last 4-6 months, but we'll have to see how severe this one is though. If he's out then Dent is their starting MLB... and they say they let Curtis go because he can't cover...
