I was thinking the same thing, but only calling on the Falcons, Vikings and Cowboys.

We'll see if my comment comes through there (crabboil). Many of my comments get nixed.
THERE's the smoking gun. We got straight up sold out.

Great. Now every player with a gripe against a coach will complain about "bounties". We could pepper the thing with fake accusations. After all, that's what the NFL did.
This will soon be known as the "Snitchline." How stupid is the NFL brass? Every time I think they can't be this ridiculous, they surpass their level of lunacy.

Awesome.

The snitch line is not the real story here.
This is all about Goodell making appearances that he's taking care of business before some idiot congressman starts giving him real headaches. He sold us out in order to get people like Dick Durbin off his back.

Yep, part of his plan to get the congressman he met with today to back down and not call for hearings in congress. I guess it worked, because Durbin backed down, saying he was satisfied with Goodells' plans and would not call for hearings.

i guess this could go anywhere, but thinking about bounties
and the league's insistence on linking bounties and head injuries/concussions (for some reason)
but if you're goal is to get someone out of the game, aren't knees/ankles MUCH better target than the head which has a giant protective shell around it?
and aren't you putting your head in danger too by hitting that hard thing as opposed to those very yielding knees?

Let's report the Philadelphia Eagles. They were the original "bounty guys."

I wonder if they will have a separate "pay for performance" tip line, or if they will just lump the 2 together.

I just wanted to be clear on that. So now if a guy makes a big play, and his teammate takes him out to dinner or something, thats a bounty, and it should be called into the hotline.
