The NFL has enough money to hire some artists to come up with something. Hell...make a nationwide contest with the winner getting a trip and pair of tickets to the Super Bowl. Less than $10,000 spent...problem solved.
I don't like this trend at all. It's sheer laziness on the NFL's part.
I honestly think Goodell is trying to make Selig, Stern, and Bettman look better.
We have to build a trophy case house the 2009 Halas trophy and the 2009 Vince Lombardi trophy.
Starting next February we are going to have a picture of JJ's mutant turtle in our building forever?

I'm just trying to figure out why Superbowl 45 is so special - I kind of figured if we're this close to Superbowl 50 wouldn't that be the special one to make the change. But I guess the NFL runs the risk of Jerry Jones not being involved with Superbowl 50 so...45 it is.
But 45 in binary is 101101, and 2D in hexadecimal. D for Dallas, 2 for something that has happened twice there.
Tell me THAT'S not significant.
