No Scare For Saints Fan Favorite Tanner
After the devastating news that linebacker Chris Chamberlain would be lost for the season due to an ACL injury in his left knee, some positive news came for the New Orleans Saints on injuries to wide receiver Andy Tanner and safety Isa Abdul-Quddus. Vitt said that Tanner after being carted off the sideline last night, merely has a sprained ankle.

I doubt that's really good news since I don't think he's shown enough to make the roster and now he won't get any more chances to show what he can do.

True, but it may make it more likely to get him onto the PS now because others won't see him perform

Yea might be able to stash Tanner 1 more year on ps.
Cadet may get Roby's spot on special teams as Roby looks like the 4th WR.
That leaves the Morgan Toon problem.
It will be interesting.

It might even be better to put him on injured reserve for the season like they did Morgan last year.

It's good for him as it's not an ACL injury, and it really looked very nasty.

Maybe for the better as it would have been tough to crack the roster up against Morgan, Toon, Cadet..etc.
