Ivory is a beast. It would be a shame if we tender him and barely use him.

I could see the Steelers wanting Ivory. He'd be the perfect back for them.

Trade Ivory to an AFC team. Dude deserves to be featured more than we can give.

Saints can take a lower round pick like a 3rd or 4th

If we get offered this we need to take it in a heartbeat. Unless it's from a team in our division of course.

Payton will never forget the RB hole we had in 2010 with everyone getting hurt. We're always going to load up at this position. I doubt we let Ivory go.

You mean when we were pulling people off the streets to face Seattle in the playoffs?

If Ivory could stay healthy a full season, he wouldn't be in this situation.

Is this true? It doesn't make sense. I thought it had to be a 2nd or original round?

i'm glad i'm not the only one who was thinking this
why would any team give away a very good RB like Ivory. Ingram only picked it up when Ivory came back. PT, for some strange reason, isnt getting the bulk of the carries anymore.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Saints keep Ivory and let Pierre go. Somebody from our RB corp will most likely have to be let go and I feel those are the two most likely candidates whether through trade or release
