Richard sherman

If Pat's want too much for butler do u guys think Richard Sherman can do the same for our defense because it seems his situation may be a little more less complicated but I'm all for butler while he is the closest to being in Black and gold as of now. But nobody on here would be mad if we woke up to a Richard Sherman pick would we??? and still have picks 11 and 32

I'd be excited about that. I think he wouldn't want to be traded, however. Nothing worse than a disgruntled Sherman.

You think we will trade for a player who openly criticizes coaches on his team, after we just traded a young stud WR for doing something similar? I don't think that's going to happen.

Wouldn't like it. Scheme player who's slow and a year away from 30.

To be fair, Payton and Sherman have praised each other over Twitter before. But you're probably right. Don't think we'd want him.

How much are they asking and how did he grade out last year?

If you draft a guy like Melinfonwu at SS to protect him over the top, a slower press corner like Sherman could make sense.

Was that before or after his outburst this season?

I'd give 11 for Sherman... 32 for Butler.

Just my opinion.

Sherm is the better CB and if they were the same age I'd PROBABLY agrse with you.

But Seattle (if they are trading him) are doing it for cap relief, so when you consider this, the team that's getting him can be viewed as doing Seattle a favor.

So for the cap relief we'd be giving them coupled with Sherm's age, I'd give them 32, but would REALLY try talking them into taking our 2nd rounder.

You realize Sherman is pushing 30 and Seattle has the best DB system in the league? Look at any player who has left for big money...none have faired well. Sherman is a talent, but about to be on the wrong side of 30, costs a lot, and is enhanced by that system. No thanks.

The Pats routinely left Butler on an island. He is the better player currently IMO. First or second for Butler; third for Sherman, if that.
