Excluding Vilma, he's not getting in ahead of Lofton, Hawthorne, Tez, Chamberlain or Humber. And we're not parting ways with Vilma apparently. So please explain why it's so ridiculous.

Pretty sure that once player suspensions come down, which will let Loomis know how their cap space will be affected for this next season, we will sign Brees long term.
Loomis has approached this off season in a slow, methodical pace. Never jumping the gun to appease fans, doing anything too hastily, or trying to appease the media. He's making sure everything happens when it needs to happen, regardless of how it looks to the public.
As of March 24th, Pro Football Focus had Hawthorne (1) and Lofton (2) ranked as the top two Free Agents, overall, still on the market. Somehow, Loomis reeled in both.
And let's not forget Bunkley who was the top ranked run defending DT last year.
Surprised to hear the news of the David Hawthorne signing by the #Saints. Club now has 11 LBs under contract.

I understand the specialty situation with will/mike/same but to say that he doesn't beat our Chamberlain or Humbar is just... odd.
