DTs are not always there to rack up stats (especially under our former D coordinator). Let us see what he brings to the table under Spags with bigger lbs to do their job a bit better.

I hope we dont all come and expect Spags to make our D-linemen a bunch of All-Pro's. A coach can only do so much and it's up to the players to make the plays on the field.
Bill Johnson is still our D-line coach and he will still do most of the development on them as players to increase their technique. Spags may sprinkle a little in here and there but he's was a LBer coach and a Secondary coach before becoming a DC and eventually a HC. The main change is that they should be able to pin their ears back and go after the passer and shoot gaps, versus what was going on last year.

I'm sure he fits into the scheme according to Spagnoula. There's definitely a reason he was brought back. Depth is likely the #1 reason. If anyone is basing what he did on the Viqueens, it's really not fair.

I agree with your statements here. I probably didnt make my point very clear. Let me try again.
The D line has faired well where spags has been the DC and hopefully Remi picks up where he left off (or way ahead) as far as improving.

My money is on the 3rd string NT who's identity remains unknown.

This is a nightmare. I hope this isn't a situation like weakside linebacker where our newly signed starters get injured and shanle is pressed into a starting role every year.
Here's hoping for continued health of Bunkley and swanson miller. I don't know why spagnolo has chosen to re-visit one of the darkest chapters in the history of our run defense. Even if this is a gag it's not funny at all.
Just when i thought I'd seen the last of Ayodele.......

I hope we got him for the vet minimum and nothing guaranteed.
Sure he has a 'nice haircut' but what did he do while he was a Saint?
