I honestly don't know why ayodele is still in the NFL and not playing in canada or arena league or something. Same for shanle. Man, i'd really like to know who the scores of other teams were that we beat out for his services.
Im forever grateful for him alerting payton about the 12 man penalty in the NFCCG in 2010 but that's the best and only thing that he ever did in black and Gold.

I don't think the Saints tried too hard to re-sign Rogers, he only signed a 1 year deal worth $925,000 with the Giants, according to KFFL

Ayodelle had pretty solid numbers in 2009-2010. He is only in his 5th year of playing football and improved his stats all 3 years with Saints. 30 tackles (18 solo 12 assisted) in '09 in 15 games, and 37 tackles (21 solo and 16 asst) in '10 in 16 games. Last year with Vikings, he had a huge drop to 15 tackles (4 solo and 11 assisted in 16 games.
Basically, Ayodelle is a young player with solid production with his years with us and a new defensive coach and bouncing back from a bad year with Vikings should make this a good signing!
Remember his message to Falcons after logo picture, "if they don't like it, then do something about it next time!". To recap the following 2 games last year, the Falcons didn't do anything about it! Lol

Rogers was a wall against the run, but aside from that monster hit on Stafford, he got zero pass rush. We need pass rush pressure!

It's not about Ayodele being better than Rogers or Franklin... We got Bunkley to replace those two, and he's better than either...
Ayodele is better than King and Miller, and he gives us a depth/rotational guy at DT/NT. It's nothing more than that.

But seriously, I'm bout to go wayyyy off topic.... This is a 300lbs man that has been seen in public wearing skinny jeans... No 300 lbs man should be allowed to wear skinny jeans.. LOL.. IMHO

Wildly mediocre seems to be the most apt:
He actually graded out worse with us than he did in Minny.

and this is how nfl.com reports it:
New Orleans Saints sign DT Ayodele, who injured Favre's ankle

Now tell me they don't have it in for the Saints.

Sad that we would choose Ayodele over Rogers (as Ayodele cannot be getting much less). Rogers is MUCH better than Ayodele.

Me too... but there's no promise he'll make the final roster.

The Ray Edwards effect. Playing next to Kevin Williams and Jared Allen will make you look better than you are.

This guy was a starting NT on a Super Bowl champion team, and will be returning to work (as a backup/rotational guy) with the same D-line coach and mostly the same players on that championship D-line, and everybody is complaining?
