Saints were suppose to win
It was a clear fumble, it was a clear recovery.. it was a clear TD.
This happens Saints go up 31 to 13 and it would have deflated the Panthers.
I blame the refs completely.

Listen, now that its over, does it hurt so bad after analyzing where we ended up? Seasons over...for better or worse, cheers.

That was one of the worst replay calls I have ever seen. Absolutely pathetic.
We wouldn't have gotten the TD on the recovery though, because the whistle had been blown.

Really? Because I blame the defense for giving up 530 yards, 44 points & giving Williams a career high in yards.

It's always easier to blame someone or something than it is to accept criticism or even the truth. Fact is, we lost the game. We weren't good enough today, end of story. 2012 is over and I, for one, couldn't be happier about that. Bring on 2013.

You don't think the defense would have had a bit more swagger and confidence after their 2nd defensive score? I do.

I do too, but what does it matter. 2012 will always be known as "the lost season" to me.

You guys were robbed of a fumble recovery. The TD wouldn't of counted though since the play was blown dead and down by contact. Should of been Saints ball wherever the fumble recovery happened.

Math gets all messed up when playing what ifs. No telling how the rest of the game would of went.

You can't advance the ball when the whistle blows. However, it was a clear recovery by the Saints. That call was complete crap and it was very obvious it swung the momentum of the game. I would even go so far to say that it was directly responsible for the ensuing Panthers touchdown.
Even so, a professional football team with any kind of heart gets over it, and gets back in the game. The Saints just went completely flat the rest of the game and it was sad to watch. Jimmy Graham needs a freakin whipping because his two Personal Fouls at the end of the game gave away whatever slim chance Brees has of salvaging the game for us...

What if the defense holds them to 20 the rest of the game? What if we score 45? We could play what if a long time. Defense still gave up 31 from that point. Completely unacceptable
