It's been reported that Graham is looking for $12 mill/yr. You are Loomis, what would you do?
Give him the 12 mill per year
Give him Gronkowski money plus a little bit
Franchise tag him as a TE
Franchise tag him as a WR
Franchise tag him and try to trade him
Let him walk

Shoot, you inherited the Stars from Minnesota. They Cowboys haven't been relevant in decades. The Texans have never been relevant - you only have them after the NFL had mercy on your because you couldn't support the Oilers enough to keep them in town.

Texas has 1 BCS championship, LSU has 2 in the last several years. Shoot, the conferences in Texas are all getting cut down to nothing as teams are jumping ship for other conferences.......

Honestly your arguments are pretty weak there home-sauce....

What a joke. Does LA even have a baseball team? Is so, how many World Series appearances? Nolan Ryan? Craig Biggio? Legends of the game? How many NBA championships? Hockey teams? So the Aints were a complete laughing stock for decades, then one Super bowl win and all the sudden the Cowboys history doesnt count??? LMAO. And who cares? Do you really think LSU is superior to Texas as a program when comparing allure, tradition, history? No college football fan or expert would ever rank LSU ahead as an all time program. You have one nfl team with a terrible history till just recent, one big time program, and a crappy NBA team with no real history... and thst is supposed to trump Texas as a sports state?? Ever heard of Friday night lights? Its amazing to me how blind you are. Its simply common sense.

Seriously dude? Who cares? Go to a Failcons board, you may get someone to play with you over there.

Let's see if you are willing to come back here on Monday and then we can talk.

A lot of irrelevant stuff is being spewed in this thread. Can we get back to discussing football that's relevant to what's gonna happen on 9/25/11 @ 12 p.m. Cause I could care less about history and tradition that half of it that I wasn't even born to witness.

It's called respect.

Obviously you guys aren't used to getting any.

Some of those posts are pretty bad... we do have some dummies on our board, but for the most part, we think we'll be lucky if we get a win in the Super Dome.

A lot of those posts are being taken out of context, but the Saints are getting much respect from the Texans' fans on Texanstalk.com

I can't speak for the guys at HoustonTexans.com

Congrats. Now can y'all stop or take it to the EE board? I came in this thread to read about the game, not read somebody trash my state that I love on MY favorite team's message board. If I really want to hear people talk crap about Louisiana, I will make sure to head over to Carolina Huddle or Falcons Life asap.

Louisiana does many things better than Texas. The fact that you think other wise is laughable.

Lived in Texas most of my life, moved to Louisiana 4 years ago. Sure, I miss my friends and family back in Texas, but I'm never moving back. The outdoor activities here are vastly superior to Texas. The food is a lot better as well. Now, what I do miss about Texas is that I can't find any people that want to play D&D. yeah, I'm a geek, what of it?

Now, can we get back to football?

I think the game will be close at half time, and the Saints will do what they did in the Second half with Chicago.

Should be an entertaining game. The Texans will be using this as a measuring stick, like they did in the preseason. We'll see how they respond when our boys punch them in the mouth.

Leadership is a big part of it when the wheels start falling off. That's why we, as Saints fans, are lucky. Because we have arguably the best leader in football in Drew Brees. So of course we're confident, because when you have a player like Brees, you're always in it.

I'm not sure the Texans have that. Shaub is a really good QB, but from everything I've read from Texans fans, he lacks leadership.

I guess we'll see. But I like our chances.

Don't know if Schaub lacks leadership. His leadership has rarely shown itself.... maybe a game like this is what we need to kickstart him.

It would break my heart if the final score is anything like that.

I understand that there are some fans on our board that are a little over zealous, but that's the way this sport is. Case in point, to think you're going to score 41 on the Texans... to think you're going to hold Houston to 24 points...

c'mon man.

keep it real.

Really?

Most of us complain that we don't show up until mid-way through the third Qtr.
